Solar Biomass Hybrid Food Dehydrator
• A solar biomass hybrid drier for dehydrating fruits and vegetable; Target Capacity (10 kg)
• Can prevent damage of a lot of food crops of farmers.
• Dried
products can also generate extra income for farmers.
• Runs by burning biomass during monsoons.
 Wildlife Repulsion
Wildlife interference is a very common problem faced by the farmers of rural area. The main aim of this project is mitigation of human-wildlife conflict through technological innovations.
Solar Energizer: A DC powered electronic circuit that generates high voltage pulses to give a non-lethal shock to the animal.
Solar Powered Siren: Solar powered amplifier connected to a loud speaker that can produce loud sounds of different kinds to ward off different kind of animals
IR Based Motion Sensor: A low cost INFRARED motion detector to detect motion of animals around the farms and can trigger an alarm, or an energizer or a siren.
Multi-function Huller / Dry Grinder and Oil Press
 • Small scale paddy dehusker machine (Output 100kg/ day)
• To be scaled to a multi-purpose dehusking, grinding cum oil expelling machine.
Automatic Water Level Controller
A low cost water level controller to control irrigation pump sets far away from farmers’ homes in order to save water and electricity. Controllers available in market are quite expensive (Rs 1500). A prototype based on magnetic switches is in development stage.
Cheap Solar Cooker
A cheap solar cooker (under $5) was attempted to be developed using locally available materials such as cardboard boxes, aluminum foils.
Water Testing
 We are evaluating if water testing using a portable machine can be offered as a doorstep service providing instant results to consumers.
