This position is to lead the Accounts and Finance department of a Social enterprise balancing the commercial sustainability with social impact. Job Location: Bengaluru and willing to travel extensively

LIST OF RESPONSIBILITES AND TASKS

• Overall responsibility for Accounts and Finance Department.
• Work with the CEO to understand and plan the financial strategy of the organization
• Review the financial aspects of different project proposals
• Involve in developing and monitoring the financial aspects of the organization’s Business Plan.
• Manage reports and related documentation as required to monitor different financial aspects
• Understand and improve the operational processes for different financial transactions.
• Understand the statutory implications of various financial dealings and ensure compliance.
• Able to interface across different organizations under the SELCO umbrella to understand the financial needs of each.
• Conduct Meetings of the Board of Directors and Shareholders meeting and prepare the minutes/set agenda.
• Interact with Registrar of Companies (ROC), Ministry of Corporate affairs (MCA), RBI and Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB).
• Manage timely submission and e-filing of various returns/ forms for compliance under the provisions of the Companies Act, 2013 and MCA - 21 and RBI under FEMA (Foreign Exchange Management Act).
• Handle Transfer of shares including transfer of shares between resident and non-resident entities and fresh issue of shares.

Competencies:

Technical/Professional

• Chartered Accountant/Cost Accountant with relevant experience
• 10-15 years of Experience in a similar field.
• Ability to work with various organizations
