CSR Manager- Fundraising

The CSR Fundraising Manager will drive institutional fundraising and partnership development to mobilize CSR grants and strategic funding for Selco’s social impact programs. The role requires strong relationship-building with corporate CSR teams, proposal development, donor management, and alignment of funding with program priorities.

Roles and Responsibilities

  1. CSR Fundraising & Partnerships
    – Identify, map, and engage corporate CSR donors aligned with Selco’s thematic areas (energy access, education, livelihoods, climate resilience).
    – Develop and execute annual CSR fundraising strategy and pipeline.
    – Lead outreach to CSR heads, foundations, and corporate sustainability teams.
    – Secure multi-year CSR partnerships and co-funding opportunities.
  2. Proposal Development & Grant Acquisition
    – Lead end-to-end development of high-quality CSR proposals, concept notes, and budgets.
    – Customize proposals based on donor priorities and compliance requirements.
    – Coordinate with technical and program teams to design fundable interventions.
    – Manage submission timelines and follow-ups.
  3. Donor Management
    – Maintain relationships with existing CSR partners to enable renewals and scale-up.
    – Ensure donor reporting, utilization updates, and impact communication.
    – Organize donor visits, field immersions, and review meetings.
    – Track funding commitments and disbursements.
  4. Strategic Positioning & Partnerships
    – Represent Selco in CSR forums, corporate events, and partnership platforms.
    – Build collaborations with industry bodies, CSR networks, and foundations.
    – Contribute to positioning Selco as a preferred CSR implementation partner in clean energy and social infrastructure.
  5. Systems & Knowledge Management
    – Maintain donor database and fundraising tracker.
    – Develop pitch decks, case studies, and partnership collateral.
    – Monitor CSR trends, compliance norms, and funding opportunities.

Competencies

Technical / Professional

  • 3–5 years experience in CSR fundraising / institutional partnerships / development sector resource mobilization.
  • Proven track record of securing CSR or foundation grants.
  • Strong proposal writing and budgeting skills.
  • Understanding of CSR law, compliance, and corporate engagement processes in India.
